      Our Commitments
         Upholding the laws 
          Bourdier & Cie commits conducting business fairly  and complying with all applicable laws and regulations in every country in  which it does business.  Particular care  is given to uphold laws on anti-bribery, competition, export and re-export  control, labour and employment, health and safety, and environment protection. 
   
  Relation with customers 
          Bourdier & Cie upholds the principles of fairness  and integrity in his or her dealings with customers. In particular Bourdier  & Cie ensures the protection of information acquired in the course of or in  connection with the performance of its duties. Bourdier & Cie may have  access to confidential information, which represents a key asset of its clients  such as classified information or information concerning the national security  of the country in which it does business. In such circumstances, Bourdier &  Cie ensures that this information is protected from third parties. Bourdier  & Cie promotes the respect of both physical and intellectual property  rights. It does not infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties,  such as patents, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights and other proprietary  information. 
   
  Corruption zero tolerance policy 
        Bourdier & Cie does not tolerate any form of  corruption practices, active or passive, direct or indirect, for the benefit of  those in the public or private sector. Bourdier & Cie applies all  international conventions on combating corruption and respects the  anti-corruption laws in force in the countries where it does business. 
         
        Conflict of interest 
        Bourdier & Cie shall avoid any conflict of  interest orpotential conflict of interest. In particular Bourdier & Cie  must disclose to its clients when it is involved in multiple interests, one of  which could possibly corrupt the motivation for an act in the other. 
         
        Gifts 
          Gifts given to or received from customers, suppliers  and any other partners are a gesture of goodwill or affection to seal a  relationship. They should not influence, or give the appearance of influencing,  any business decision.  Gifts must be  appropriate, reasonable and in line with local regulations. They must be  offered at appropriate timing (holidays etc.) and never during a tendering  process.  Good judgment should always  guide Bourdier & Cie in evaluating whether a gift is acceptable or not. 
        Bourdier & Cie has fixed an indicative threshold  of maximum 100€ (or equivalent in local currency) for a gift. 
         
        Hospitalities  
          Hospitalities are generous or material welcome or  reception that is more than an incidental kind, such as a beverage or light  refreshment: diner, hotel, entertainment etc. Hospitality must be related to  business affairs. They must be limited to the necessary travel, accommodation  and meal expenses directly associated with a reasonable travel itinerary.  
          They  must be appropriate, reasonable and in line with local regulations. They should  not influence, or give the appearance of influencing, any business decision. Paying  the expenses of spouses, children and other family members is strictly  prohibited. Good judgment should always guide Bourdier & Cie in evaluating  whether hospitality is acceptable or not.   
          Bourdier & Cie has fixed an indicative threshold  of maximum 250€ per day per person  
          (or equivalent in local currency) for  hospitality. 
   
  Political donations 
        Bourdier & Cie does not support any political  party. 
         
        Charitable donations, sponsorships and memberships 
          Bourdier & Cie participates to the welfare of the  community where it does business by contributing to initiatives supported by  associations, hospitals, schools etc. This is part of Bourdier & Cie social  responsibility’s policy and should never be used to influence, or give the  appearance of influencing, any decision maker.  
        Good judgment should always guide Bourdier & Cie  in evaluating whether a donation is acceptable or not.  
         
        Facilitation payment 
        Bourdier & Cie does not make any illegal or unofficial payment in return for services which it is legally  intended to receive without making such payment – except in case of immediate  threat for the health, safety or security of one of Bourdier & Cie’s employee  s. Receipts are requested for any payment to public officials. 
         
        Offset agreements 
          Bourdier & Cie, when occasionally involved in  setting offset deals, complies with applicable offset laws, public regulations and  formal internal offset policies. In particular Bourdier & Cie ensure that  offset arrangements would not be used to introduce, facilitate, or increase  corruption within defense or aerospace public procurement. 
   
  Export control 
          Before engaging in any export activity, Bourdier &  Cie verifies the eligibility of both the delivery location and the recipient. It  applies for, when applicable, all required licenses and permits, including  government authorizations and approvals for government-controlled products or  technologies. 
   
  Fair competition  
        Bourdier & Cie strictly complies with applicable  competition laws in the countries where it operates. In general, these laws  prohibit agreements or practices likely to restrain or alter competition such  as: price fixing, bid rigging, allocating markets, territories or clients  amongst competitors, or boycotting or discriminating among certain customers or  suppliers unless legally justified, exchange or disclosure of commercially  sensitive information relating to competitors, customers or suppliers.  
         
        Insider Trading  
          Bourdier & Cie employees commits not buying or  selling the stock of any company while in possession of inside or privileged  information about that company – in particular information obtained in relation  with  the works done for its clients. In  addition, Bourdier & Cie may not disclose any inside or privileged  information to anyone, including co-workers, family members and friends. 
   
  Relations with suppliers 
  Bourdier & Cie selects suppliers on the basis  of objective criteria and demands proper performance from them, in order to  ensure that Bourdier & Cie’s expectations and those of its customers are  fully met. Bourdier & Cie requires its suppliers to respect Bourdier &  Cie Suppliers’ Code of Conduct and applicable laws particularly on anti-bribery,  competition, export and re-export control, labour and employment, health and safety,  and environment protection.
